The Story
A tangent touches a circle at exactly one point, enough to change direction without taking control.
That's the role this work plays: outside perspective at the moment decisions become irreversible.
Before entering M&A, I worked as a research analyst, identifying patterns across markets before they became obvious. That instinct never changed; it found a new context.
In corporate development, I evaluated acquisition targets across the U.S., Asia, and Europe. Over time, I became increasingly aware of a recurring gap, not in effort, but in timing. Strong businesses were often encountering the buyer's lens only once a transaction process had begun.
Transferable value, the kind that withstands due diligence, is built years before a process begins.
The Tangent Point exists to bring that perspective forward.
This practice focuses on how value holds up under scrutiny, structurally, operationally, and across borders, while there is still time to shape it.
